Working at Çagla Cabaoglu Gallery was an invaluable experience that expanded my understanding of the art world beyond my formal education. As an Associate Art Director & Creative Co-Director, I had the opportunity to collaborate with over 30 established artists, supporting their creative processes from concept development to exhibition execution.

My role encompassed a wide range of responsibilities, from overseeing the production of artworks and exhibition catalogs to assisting with conservation and restoration. Managing both the creative and logistical aspects of exhibitions allowed me to refine my skills in curation, visual storytelling, and marketing. I also played a role in shaping the visual identity of exhibitions and artists, photographing and editing their works to enhance their presence both in-gallery and online.

Beyond exhibitions, I worked closely with artists to design personalized portfolios and art books, transforming their collections into compelling narratives.

This immersive experience was like earning a second degree—one shaped by hands-on collaboration with renowned artists and deep exposure to the inner workings of the contemporary art scene. The insights, skills, and connections I gained during this time remain invaluable to my creative journey.

JUNN Gluten-Free has been deeply committed to its cultural roots and healthy lifestyle mission since its founding. From the moment it opened its first workshop in Reisdere, the brand has embraced storytelling through art and creativity to connect with its audience. As Junior Creative Director & Illustrator, contributing to this vision has been an invaluable experience.

To help customers easily locate JUNN’s origins, I designed an illustrated map inspired by the village’s architectural heritage, featuring key landmarks in a clean, visually engaging style—an element that quickly gained interest. To further highlight the nutritional value and health benefits of JUNN’s gluten-free bread, I created custom packaging and label designs, ensuring that the product was not only visually appealing but also market-ready. This hands-on experience refined my skills in branding and product presentation.

For social media marketing, we expanded into photography and video production, crafting engaging ad campaigns. Collaborating with nutritionists and professional athletes, we produced a series of short films showcasing how JUNN’s bread seamlessly fits into a health-conscious lifestyle. The impact was immediate—demand surged, leading to the product’s expansion onto major retail platforms and many store shelves.

This project strengthened my expertise in branding, illustration, and content strategy, allowing me to merge storytelling with design to create a compelling, cohesive brand presence.

At EKE Architecture, I had the opportunity to experience a role in shaping a cohesive brand identity while working on projects that seamlessly integrated traditional craftsmanship with modern design. One of the most impactful projects I worked on was STAND, a sculptural furniture piece originally designed as a hotel room nightstand and later transformed through artisanal techniques into a multi-functional design object.
Collaborating closely with designers and craftsmen, I played a role in refining the visual storytelling and presentation of STAND. My work focused on enhancing the design’s narrative by integrating artistic graphics and materials into the project’s presentation, effectively communicating its concept and craftsmanship. Through branding and creative direction, I ensured that the piece’s identity reflected EKE Architecture’s vision of blending nature and traditional craftsmanship into modern interiors.
STAND’s organic curves and material contrasts—solid wood, cast bronze, and hand-blown glass—symbolized the ever-evolving process of nature, with each element telling a story of transformation. One variation featured overflowing bronze castings, capturing the passage of time, while another introduced a mirror-effect hand-blown glass drop, embedded in a charred solid pine body, representing the tension between history and future innovation.
My involvement in this project strengthened my ability to bridge design, storytelling, and visual communication, ensuring that the craftsmanship and conceptual depth of the piece were effectively conveyed to clients and audiences.

Collaborating with renowned journalist and war correspondent Korcan Karar, I had the chance to shape the creative vision for the Olea Europaea exhibition—a photographic documentary exploring the cultural and historical significance of ancient olive trees. This project was more than just an exhibition; it was a deeply immersive journey into the stories embedded within these centuries-old trees, emphasizing their environmental and symbolic importance.
As part of the research process, I joined on-site explorations, studying the region’s oldest and most valuable olive trees to understand their historical and ecological impact. My role extended beyond curation—I conducted in-depth research on artistic and material choices, ensuring that everything from the exhibition space design to the selection of archival-quality printing materials reinforced the exhibition’s message. By translating these insights into visual storytelling strategies, I supported Karar in creating an exhibition that resonated deeply with audiences.
